Its so easy to critize and point fingers yet another thing to come up with a realistic solution. If we got rid of our cheap labor workers we will have to pay so much more for our fruit and vegetables to start with. But lets not forget how this country sought the help of Mexicans during the building of the Brazero program. However, the minute we don't need them we call them illegals and a drain on society. When times are tough its so easy to find a scapegoat. Let us remember that is what happen in Germany...remember the Holocaust.

It says the woman has been working here all her life, she came to the u.s. since 1977 and has been paying taxes she cannot claim...complain about illegals when youre in such a dramatic situation. Im sure you dont have 20000$ to pay for something like this either. There are 46 million people without health insurance in the u.s. Complain when you are denied the right to work to provide for your family. What are liveable wages? I see plenty of people living around the world and they dont have a cent to fall back on. Instead of saying "... having an employer hire me for slave wages, and not pay taxes and government fees on my wages, which ultimately cost you your job because I was so cheap to hire" Why dont you think about the American employer that is so corrupted to pay so cheap and evade taxes that supposedly pay for the immigrants needs. How is it an undocumented persons fault if the American employers want to make money?

Go home, we are tired of paying for you, your family and every other illegal in our country. Our children are denied necessities while illegals obtaining food stamps, free health insurance, low income housing and are driving new vehicles, wearing designer clothes and crying for more of our money,

Start organizing. Call your senator and congressional representative that if they even begin to legalize "illegal" immigrants, we will have an economic boycott for 2-3 months. Nothing will be bought, but food, medicine and gasoline. The only way to really effect the illegal immigrant machine is to negatively affect the bottom line of the businesses that want their cheap labor source (while we subsidize them in education and medical cost). They will get rid of them so fast your head will spin. Tell your friends, relatives, anyone who says "NO" to illegal immigrant amnesty.

"US Politics are to blame for this." Unbelieveable! Whatever happened to making responsible choices for oneself? Just another woe-is-me victim mentality. It's never "my" fault, is it? Seems like this woman has made a lot of poor choices in her life...unfortunately, there are consequences to our choices. Perhaps this experience will help her learn to make better choices in the future.

Does anyone come here anymore that isn't looking for the American taxpayer to support them?
It is disgusting. In America we take care of ourselves!

Wow. This family is further evidence the drain on society and taxpayers the "undocumented" are. Kid and father both with million dollar diseases who are here illegally sucking off the taxpayers. The kid may be an automatic citizen, but that should change also.

What if I broke into your home (looking for a better life for me and my children). Would that give me a right to stay in your house? Then on top of that, what if I demanded that you educate my children, pay for our health care, protect us, feed us and so on? You would think I was crazy! You would call the police to have me arrested and deported from your property. Would you care if I claimed it was to better my children's future?

What if I came in and undercut your legal wages by having an employer hire me for slave wages, and not pay taxes and government fees on my wages, which ultimately cost you your job because I was so cheap to hire? And then the government told you, "Hey it was a job Americans wouldn't do anyways" when the truth is, it was a job your employer wouldn't pay the legal wages for an American to do.

I am not anti anything. Just want the country to enforce it's very basic immigration laws so all Americans have a fair chance to feed their families with livable wages.
